Street Fighter has been entertaining the gamers from decades. Since 1987 when the First Street Fighter game hit arcades, gamers everywhere have been struck down with RSI from throwing constant Hadoukens and Shoryukens.
Check out our list and don’t forget to post your opinion in the comment box. For this list, we picked the best and most iconic warriors to have graced Capcom’s Street Fighter series.
08 – Sagat
From Thailand, Sagat was known as the “The King” of the Muay-Thai fighting style. He has everything a bad should have: eye patch, giant scar and freakish build. Though immensely powerful, Sagat suffered several defeats as evidenced by his missing eye, along with the giant scar on his chest, which he received at the hands of one of Ryu’s legendary Shoryuken. Sagat is an exceptionally dominant character who uses a combination of knee strikes, uppercuts and fireballs to fell his opponents.
07 – Cammy
Cammy appeared in the Super Street Fighter II for the first time, which was released in 1993, as one of the “New Challengers”, out of the four new characters introduced in that title. She is formerly one of M.Bison’s minions who lost her memory and was then recruited by the British Secret Service. Fast, strong and able to attack you on various levels, Cammy is an offensive players dream. When she appeared in Street Fighter II she became the pin up girl of the series. She is a deadly assassin that’s adept at striking her foes with quick flurries of punches and kicks, leaving them unable to respond before the fight is already over.
