Tombs were constructed throughout the region to honor the dead. Treasures were left with the dead within the structures for their travels to the afterlife. These burial sites have since been targets of thieves and researchers.

All 14 tombs contain an Ancient Tablet deep inside, which is main object. Along the way, valuable Silica and treasures are also available to loot. Finding the tablet completes the location and earns an Ability Point.
- Total: 14 tombs, 6 Ancient Mechanisms
- Objective: Find the Ancient Tablet and activate the Ancient Mechanism
- Reward: 1 AP per tomb, 250 XP per Ancient Mechanism
Inside these sites, a mysterious Ancient Mechanism offers a connection to the future, but it requires a set amount of Silica to activate. This triggers a message from and completes another location. The sixth and final Ancient Mechanism is located beneath the Sphinx.
A torch is necessity when exploring the dark tombs of Egypt. Keep an eye out for braziers as you search the interiors, touching them with your torch to create another light source. Fire is also handy for getting rid of cobwebs throughout the tombs.
Hold the torch up to the covered mirror or throw the fire out of reach.
Use Animus Pulse often as you explore the tombs to find objects hidden throughout. Urns, sacks, and crates provide random loot, such as drachmas, resources, and the occasional trinket. Gear can be found in treasure chests. Interact with lore left behind on the walls, scrolls, and tablets to learn of the Egyptian ways.
Adorer of Thoth Tomb
- Territory: Giza
- Silica Available: 5
- Treasures: 6
- Ancient Mechanism: None
The Adorer of Thoth Tomb sits in the far northwest area of Giza, west of the big pyramids. Watch out for snipers who fire from the platforms above, which you can use to your advantage once you’ve removed the enemies.
Inside the stronghold, look for the short, wooden stairs and use them to reach the first Silica. A second Silica sits atop a high platform on the cavern’s other side. Proceed deeper into the base, using the foliage to conceal your attacks. Just inside the next cavern, a treasure is located next to a campfire on the left. Scan often so that you are not caught off guard.
Before continuing up the slope, after the monkey statue drops in the pool behind it, swim underneath to find a hidden room. Behind the tree is a Silica and a rare treasure.
In the next area, you will find several spools lying around, along with an elevator straight ahead and another on the left. By adding weight to one, the other rises and vice versa. The goal is to reach the high ledge above the first elevator.
Begin by grabbing the spool off the elevator ahead and set it on the other one. Add at least three more spools to the left elevator and then use the platform on the left to reach the raised elevator. Follow the dark path into the thieves’ treasure room, where a Silica sits on the central platform.
Drop into the final area to find the Ancient Tablet, 4 treasures and a fourth Silica on the high ledge left of the tablet.
- Territory: Isolated Desert
- Silica Available: 13
- Treasures: 4
- Ancient Mechanism: Oun-mAa Niye Ressoot
- Silica Required FOR MECHANISM: 5
- Segment: 1
Golden Tomb is located in the Isolated Desert. Its entrance is located between the villages of Theos Elpis Rift and Remetch Ra. Find a weak wall on the mountain’s north side, surrounded by scarabs. Bust through with a melee weapon to enter the tomb.
The new light enters the tomb allows you to continue throughout the interior, leads directly to the tablet. When the light ends prematurely, you must either move another mirror into position or eliminate cobwebs with your torch or fire arrows.
Though the light reflecting throughout the tomb’s corridors leads you directly to the tablet, it is not necessary for completion. If you would rather stumble through the dark toward the objective, do not bother with the mirrors.
Light your torch for better visibility and move through the doorway to allow the light to move into the corridor. Just ahead, it stops on the left wall. Move the nearby mirror back so that it makes contact with the beam. Follow it.
Find the next mirror and clear off the cobwebs before collecting a piece of Silica in the right room. Just ahead, follow the hallway left to find an armory, where another Silica is located. On your way back to the main corridor, there is a under pass on the left sidethat leads to a small treasure room with one chest inside.
Continue deeper into the tomb, following the light over a barrier of boulders. Clear off the next reflector with a brush of your torch, and then take the first turn to a short dead end. Just on the corner, on your left side, there is another passage underneath that leads to a small treasure room with one chest and one piece of Silica. Go out and take the second left turn into a short dead end. Destroy the containers on the left to find the fourth Silica.
Next, find the nearby moveable object and push/pull it into the path of the light, leading you into a room on the right. Destroy more containers that block the light from its next redirect.
The light now points to some brush on the floor ahead. Toss your torch to reveal a hole and drop down to a lower level. The light now leads into a treasure room that holds the Ancient Tablet, two treasure chests, and a Silica.
the loot and complete the tomb’s objective. Follow the corridor to discover Oun-mAa Niye Ressoot. The right path at the “Y” intersection leads to a moveable object that blocks a narrow exit, leading back out to the Isolated Desert.
Ancient Mechanism: Oun-Maa Niye Ressoot
Instead, continue down the left route and descend into an open, well-lit cavern. Before activating the device, search the perimeter to find five Silica—two on the left, one hidden behind two rocks, one on a small platform next to the wall, one on the right, and two more along the back. Now head down the path and hop along the square platforms to score another Silica, before collecting the final one near the mechanism. Place five of your newfound Silica on the device to activate it and retransmit Segment 1.
Mountain of the Dead
- Territory: Siwa
- Silica Available: 3
- Treasures: 3
- Ancient Mechanism: None
Located just northwest of the village of Siwa, east of the lake, here you will get “Hideaway” quest, which introduces the idea of tombs.
The first tomb, Mountain of the Dead, is completed as part of the quest. Step inside and move to the T-intersection ahead.
Head left, knock down the wall, and continue down the corridor to find a silica in the right corner near the metal fence. Head back and follow the path to the left and then turn left again to find yourself in a small room with a Silica behind a jar. Head in the next room to collect the Silica just inside the treasure room to the right, before approaching the moveable objects on the room’s other side.
Push the right sled straight until a hidden room is revealed on the right. Collect the treasure that sits among the numerous cat mummies before returning to the previous room. Now destroy the jar in the right corner before moving the second sled into its spot.
This allows you to reach quest object, along with the Ancient Tablet and two more treasures.
