How to Play and What You Should Keep in Mind:
First thing first – as the match start and you were deploy into the battle against the monsters make a defense around you by looking all around. And then when going to search for the monsters, it is best to go in with the character you are most comfortable with.
As a team you should know the other hunters and their loadouts, so you can help each other easily. Like Hank and Val is a tough combo for a monster to deal with, as Hank shields Val and Val heals Hank. Also if there is Lazarus is with you, you should refrain from reviving another player unless, of course, it is Lazarus who needs saving. While searching you should not go far away from the other half team, because if you are not near them Monster may take care of your half before help arrives. Also don’t go solo – monsters can easily take you out and if a creature or carnivorous plant swallows you, you are dead.
Team Communication in Combat
One of the key feature in combat is Team Communication, it will help other Hunters to know what you are doing or going to do next, so that they can get ready for it. Like when using Assault’s Personal Shield is used lets Hank know that he doesn’t need to waste his Shield Projector on him. Calling for help and also the abilities that you can use is a great idea, like healing, speed boost, or cloaking. As Hank, announcing an Orbital Barrage keeps teammates from being surprised when they are knocked away from the fight.
Mark Your Target:
Mark Waypoint skill can be used to mark the nearby monsters and wildlife, also Abe’s Tracking Darts and Cabot’s Dust can help in it, tagging whenever available to spot any creatures on the map.
Revive Your Teammates:
When a Hunter’s health is fully depleted and knocked to ground and begins to bleed out. A player who is down but not out is represented by a skull icon with red filling draining out. Once it is empty, the Hunter is dead and must wait for a drop ship to show up so they can reenter the game. However, Lazarus can bring a dead Hunter back to life. During this time, a teammate can revive this player by holding down the Reload/Revive/Use button while standing nearby.
Protect The Medic:
The Medic is quite often the most important Hunter. It is up to that player to keep everyone alive as long as possible. Most Monsters come after medic, so staying out of sight is usually a good idea. Seaving the medic is winning against the monsters. Medic is usually first target, when the Monster starts pounding on the Medic, use the Healing Burst, and immediately flee the area.
