Outlast 2 is out and you may have face this issue if you are try to run the game in 1080-p or with the resolution of 2560×1080!
If you are playing the game on these setting, Night Vision mode makes your game look like you are looking through a scope instead of a camera.
Below you will find out you can fix this issue with detail.
First of you need to locate the file named “OLGame”, which can be found under the;
User/Documents/my games/Outlast2/OLGame/Config folder then find the file “OLGame” and open with notepad.
Here in the file you need to find “NormalNVLightSettings” (either manually locate this or use the “find” function)
Next, anything that says “InnerConeAngleZoomedOut” “InnerConeAngleZoomedIn” “OuterConeAngleZoomedOut” “OuterConeAngleZoomedIn” will be changed from the default Value to 50 and 55.
Afterwards scroll right down the next setting “InteriorNVLightSettings” and do the following again.
When finished make file “Read Only” to prevent the game from overwriting your personalized settings.
Below we have the text with the change you can just copy it into that file but make sure you have a backup of this file:
