Halo 5: Guardians – All Intel Locations Guide

In the every mission of Halo 5: Guardians you can crab these items, you need to scan them first to collect the info from them, these item are called “Mission Intel”, you can grab more than 7 from every mission. Most of the items are data pads that contain audio logs.

Below we have the locations of all the Mission Intel that you can gran or scan in Halo 5: Guardians. There are 117 Intel total. Whenever an Intel item is encountered in a mission, a special flag appears. Use these flags to track the unlocked Intel. You can view all of the Intel you’ve acquired for the current mission in Pause menu.

Mission 1 Intel Locations:

There are total 7 Intel that you can find in the first mission of the game.

Intel #1: Data Pad

• You will find this one at the start of the game through your gameplay.

Intel #2: Data Pad

• After killing the lone wolf, you will face him when you exit the ice cave with a Spartan Charge, look to your left side for a lower edge with the Intel.

Intel #3: Data Pad

• Look for a tall rock formation near the entrance to the Forerunner security station, you will find the Intel on it.

Intel #4: Data Pad

• After seeing the Kraken first time and you pass through that cave, look to the right side for a lower edge with the Intel.

Intel #5: UNSC Data Pad

• When you are at the entrance to the Forerunner structure where Dr. Halsey is being held, go to the right side of the entrance you will find the Intel on a ledge.

Intel #6: UNSC Data Pad

• When you are inside the Forerunner structure, go near the window, you can scan the Intel on the ground.

Intel #7: UNSC Data Pad

• At the end of the mission, when you are about to meet with Dr. Halsey. Before opening the door leads you to the Dr. Halsey, go to the right side and you will scan the Intel on the platform.

Mission 2 Blue Team Intel Locations:

There are total 8 Mission Intel that you can find in the second mission of the game.

Intel #1: Argent Moon Computer

• You will find this one on the start of the mission, you won’t miss it.

Intel #2: Argent Moon Computer

• You will find this one, when you face Jackals and Elites first time in this mission, in the corridor, look for a weapon rack, Intel can be found near it.

Intel #3: UNSC Data Pad

• When you reach a doorway marked “Central Control.” Turn around and look for a shelf on your left. Go there and follow to another one and look behind you for another shelf, go there are grab the Intel.

Intel #4: UNSC Data Pad

• When you fight with Energy Sword Zealot, there is another room that accessible by crawlspace. You will find the Intel there with Hydra Launcher.

Intel #5: Argent Moon Computer

• You soon come to a windowed corridor, where you bear witness to an entire fleet of Covenant ships entering the area from slipspace and you need to find a way to station’s reactor core which lies beyond Argent Moon’s laboratory. Pass the nearby door and inspect the computer station on other side to obtain Intel.

Intel #6: UNSC Data Pad

• When you were encountering the Hunters in the lab, you will find it there on the ground.

Intel #7: Argent Moon Computer

• You can find this once in Reactor Core area, near the entrance.

Intel #8: Argent Moon Computer

• At the end when you find a Prowler under covenant guards. Inspect the computer station to the left of the lookout window for the Intel.

Mission 3: Glassed Intel Locations:

There are total 6 Intel that you can find in the 3rd mission of the game.

Intel #1: UNSC Data Pad

While they are opening security door, look for an Intel, in the far right corner, atop stacked crates.

Intel #2: Radio

When you are at Space Elevator outpost, there is a sniper perch to the left but first head to the stairs and  fire up Artemis to find the Intel on a crate to your right.

Intel #3: UNSC Data Pad

When you are at Space Elevator outpost, and all security lockdown ends after all Promethean threats there are offices on right side, you will find it there in one of them on the chair.

Intel #4: Radio

When you are going to the bridge, there is a wreckage of a downed Pelican; you can find the Intel there.

Intel #5: UNSC Data Pad

While waiting for Governor Sloan to open the bridge, go the left side to find DMR, Hydra Launcher and Battle Rifle, here use Artemis to detect a UNSC data pad on nearby table.

Intel #6: UNSC Data Pad

You can find this once inside the garage with Scorpion Tank.
