What Should You Do First?
Be sure to check the support article section related to the game you’re having problemswith.
- It’s important that you have the latest version of DirectX and graphics drivers installed.
- If you’re using Windows Vista or 7, you should try disabling UAC.
- Installing the latest updates for your operating system is always a good idea and can also resolve some of your issues. Same thing goes for shutting down or disabling any non-crucial applications running in the background, especially anti-virus software, as they might interfere with your games. Try it and see if it helps.
Nvidia Framerate Issue Fix
To fix FPS issue on Nvidia Graphic Card, try to change these setting from Nvidia Control Panel,
- Go to nvidia control panel and add the Dishonored 2.exe
- Set to adaptive vsync and turn on triple buffering
- Set maximum prerendered frames to “1”
- Turn on threaded optimization
- Can’t Even Open The Game
Exit steam completely. Then kill all steam related tasks in task manager. Then re-open it and try to run the game.
Windows 10
Windows 8.1/Windows 7:
Game crashes when trying to open a picture in Full screen while marked.
Pressing the “Y” Button to view a picture taken in photo mode in full screen on which a marker has been set previously will result in a crash.
- Be sure not to mark photos on the map in the meantime.
- Status: Will be fixed with next Title Update.
Objectives disappear in “The Hyena” main quest.
The objectives may disappear during the main quest “The Hyena” when quitting to the title screen or closing the console during the final clue cinematic.

Low FPS (30fps):
- Make sure your 1050ti is running in performance mode.
Also try to low AA, or completely disabled. Turn Fog to minimum, it‘s a serious loss picture-wise, but increases performance noticeably. And Ambient Occulsion, or Dynamic Light. Turn it off or to middle.
Stuck at Loading Scene
- Try to transfer all the file of the game in the same disk as uplay.
- Or Install the game in the same drive where UPlay or steam is installed.
No Sound Issue
- Go to playback devices and disable them all then re-able the one you need.

Disabling Your Background Applications:
- Go to the Start menu on your Desktop. Press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time.
- Type in MSCONFIG and press Enter.
- Go to the Startup tab.
- Click the option to Disable All.
- Press Apply, then Close and pick the option to Restart.
Clearing Your Temporary Files:
- Go to the Start menu on your Desktop. Press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time.

Make sure the drivers for your video card, sound card, motherboard and processor are up-to-date. Running 2 cards in SLI or running 2 screens can also cause issues. Deactivate SLI or unplug any additional screens you may be using. If you are overclocking, try running at the stock clock settings.
- Make sure that any antivirus or firewall software on your system is disabled.
- Install Windows Updates:
- Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed on your system.
Also Try this for Sound Issue
So apparently Assassin’s Creed Origins works with 4 surround sound only, so 5.1 or 7.1 are not working. Open your headset settings:
- Disable surround sound completely
- Use surround sound with only 4 sides (Left 1, left 2, right 1 and right 2)
Also trying to disable virtual 7.1 and dolby atmos, it works for some users.
The Game Won’t Launch
- Try to run the game with administrator rights
- Update your video card drivers – AMD – NVIDIA
- Disable background applications
- Reinstall supporting software
Verify your game files

PC Mouse Is Not Working
- Disable all other devices, joystick, throttle, controller.
