COD-AW-tweak-03Black Screen Issue:

The Back Screen of Death in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is occurring as a result of resolution error, the simplest solution is to use optimal resolution for playing this game. This should stop the Black Screen Issue.

OR Try This Method:

Find this in the config file:

seta r_displayRefresh “240 hz”

And change it to:

seta r_displayRefresh “60 hz”

Note: Match to your monitors “Hz”

COD-AW-tweak-04Bad Ping Issues In Multiplayer:

Note: This makes it harder to find a server cause of the faulty matchmaking system, less servers with low ping, not recommended yet, in that case you can set it back to 800.

Change your max ping from 800 to at least 200 to avoid those bad connections with high ping, this will guide matchmaking better for you. First locate the MP config file in the game dir.

\Call of Duty Advanced Warfare\players2\config_mp.cfg

And now find this:

seta cl_maxPing “800”

And change it to:

seta cl_maxPing “200”

COD-AW-tweak-05Cache Settings:

WARNING – Turn off both the cache settings (Cache sun shadow and cache spot shadow) – If not the textures will be on low and the game will have 15 fps.

The game would have perfectly fine textures and good FPS, without them.

Out of Memory Errors, Memory leaks:

COD-AW-tweak-06Set your page file on your C drive to SYSTEM MANAGED. You may need to disable, reboot, then set it correctly, then reboot again.

“Extra/Ultra” level textures may cause severe memory leaks and crashes. Change textures to “High” to fix.
