Curved Greatswords List:

It’s a rare weapon category and there are only four such swords in the game. Curved Greatswords still require a healthy attribute investment however, demanding both Str and Dex to use, and with moderate weight requirements.

Carthus Curved Greatsword

• Skill: Spin Slash
• Drop from Skeleton Swordsman

Large curved sword wielded by swordsmen of Carthus and it is the lightest of the curved greatswords.

Exile Greatsword

• Skill: Spin Slash
• Can be found in Road of Sacrifices

Bloodstained greatsword wielded by one of the Watchdogs of Farron, who preside over the slumber of fallen warriors.

Murakumo

• Skill: Spin Slash
• Can be found in Irithyll Dungeon

The curved greatsword of Alva, Seeker of the Spurned, specially forged in an eastern land. Sharp but heavy, this sword requires extreme strength and dexterity to wield.

Old Wolf Curved Sword

• Skill: Wolf Leap
• Reward of “Watchdogs of Farron”

This sword, like a wolf on the prowl, boosts attack and restores HP with each consecutive hit.

Thrusting Swords List

Thrusting Swords focus on rapid piercing strikes. Almost a dagger in sword form, these are fast, lightweight weapons.

Crystal Sage’s Rapier

ESTOC

Large thrusting sword used for piercing through the armor of knights. The sharp edge of the sword’s rock-solid blade can also be used in slashing attacks.

Irithyll Rapier

Thrusting sword bestowed upon the Outrider Knights of the Boreal Valley. This weapon is shrouded in frost, and causes frostbite.

Katanas List:

Katanas possess their own distinct fighting style, both in move set and in weapon skills. Katanas make use of wide arcing blows, great for dealing with multiple opponents or fighting in the open, harder to use in confined quarters.

Axes are straightforward weapons with an easy to use move set and a solid mix of damage and speed.

Battle Axe

Easily-wielded axe crafted for battle and inflicting standard damage. Its weight can be used to inflict high damage, but must be used carefully as it leaves its wielder open to retaliation.

Butcher Knife

Elenora

A strange weapon found among malformed inhabitants of the Profaned Capital.

Winged Knight Twinaxes

Paired beheading axes wielded by the Winged Knights, who swore themselves to the Angels.

Greataxes have intense Str requirements to even wield them, on top of hefty weights that demand even more attribute investment to use them effectively.
