It deals best damage when fully charged, firing a homing electromagnetic pulse—hold down the trigger to charge the weapon, then release the trigger to fire. Charged shots consumes the 15{ad0b53be2d5c5d18a99e20ff09d5b2ab365deb4c843e9bf9a16eb8b27c6b832d} ammo of the weapon and also overheat the weapon. While killing the enemies, drop their shields with the charged shot than quickly use Magnum to take them down. If you shot the vehicle with charged shot it will disable them.

While using turret, you can’t have access to all of your other weapons so if you are under attack, drop the Plasma Turret and take cover. You can always retrieve your turret from the ground once immediate threats subside.

You can use Smart Link to increase its range and can score easy one shot kills. It needs to be charged before fire, hold its trigger to charge it. Once fully charged it will fire automatically. But this charging thing makes it use difficult in close combats. So you need a backup weapon for close combats. You can fire it early without charging it completely by releasing the trigger any time but it will reduce the damage.
