Arena and Warzone:
Standard issue weapons affiliated with UNSC forces are called Loadout Weapons. In an arena match, all Spartans start each match with an Assault Rifle and Magnum, But the Battle Rifle, DMR, and SMG weapons are usually available as pickups. Like Arena, in Warzone Spartan start with an Assault Rifle and Magnum and you can get other weapons through REQ system. Loadout weapons are your permanent companions. Once you acquire them, it will always be in your collection.
Attachments:
There is wide variety of loadout REQ Cards available, distinguished by their optics and attachments. With the help of these attachments, you can improve your weapon’s performance. Here is the list of attachments available for these weapons.
Energy Bayonet
- Increases damage and range of melee strikes. You can use it with Assault Rifles and SMGs.
Kinetic Bolts
- Increases knockback capability of each shot fired also increase damage against vehicles.
Laser Targeter
- Increases weapon’s accuracy. A good choice for Battle Rifles and DMRs.
Long Barrel
- It increases range of Battle Rifles and DMRs are even more deadly at range.
Silencer
- Firing a weapon with a Silencer keeps you off your opponents’ Motion Trackers—perfect for stealthy gameplay.
Stabilization Jets
- Significantly reducing recoil and increase accuracy, particularly when firing automatic weapons.
Assault Rifle:
Assault Rifle is the best weapon for close quarter combat because of its lethal efficiency. At the start of all arena and warzone matches, Spartans equip it. Due to its high rate of fire, the weapon is best deployed at close- to midrange. When engaging targets beyond a few meters, zoom in using Smart-Link and fire in short, controlled bursts. Since it is close range weapon so always carry a long range weapon with you as backup.

Battle Rifle:
This is a gas operated, magazine fed versatile weapon for a wide variety of ranges. Battle Rifle is an ideal weapon for mid to long range. It fired a three shot burst. Take body shots first to take down the armor then aim for the head to get a perfect kill. It’s a long range weapon so always carry a rapid fire weapon with you as back up.

DMR:
DMR is the best rifle for those ones who can take advantage of Smart-Linked telescopic sights. It is the counter of Battle Rifle. The Sentinel DMR variant is equipped with a variable 4x/6x optic. It is a semi-automatic weapon that fires one round per pull of trigger. It can fire multiple shots with good accuracy but for best results let the weapon settle after each shot before firing a follow-up. It is designed as a precision weapon; don’t be afraid to hip fire the DMR at close to intermediate range.

SMG:
SMG is a fully automatic and extremely lethal weapon in close quarters. The weapon is fed by a top-mounted 60-round magazine. While 60 rounds seem generous, SMG chews through ammo at a rapid pace. It is ideal in close in close-quarter duals and it can outperform the Assault rifle. It is a close range weapon so always carry a weapon better mid to long range.

Magnum:
This is a semi-automatic, magazine fed handgun used by all branches of UNSC. It is very good for mind to long range combats when it is paired alongside the Assault Rifle or SMG. Switch to Magnum quickly instead of reloading the weapon. This semi-automatic handgun is most effective when engaging targets at long range through Smart-Link. It is also very good in close combats. Land three shots with the Magnum then only a melee strike is needed to finish the opponent.
