#5: A Two Story Job
- Quest Giver: Thief OR Abrecan Doemenel
- Location: Thieves Hideout OR House of Doemenel – Copperlane
In Copperlane, east of the marketplace you interrupt a group of plotting thieves; near it you will find Thieves’ Hideout, located on the right side of the big building. Now go into the Thieves’ Hideout and slay the thieves with their leader named “Lagden” and loot his corpse to get Thieves’ Letter, which wikk starts this quest.
Note: You can deliver this letter to Lord Reymont or Abrecan Doemenel. If you choose the former, you won’t be able to complete this quest.
New Objective: Tell somebody about the plot
Go to Brackenbury and head to to the imposing Doemenel Manor located in upper center of town and Make pleasantries with doorman until you’re allowed an audience with Abrecan Doemenel in the chamber to northeast. Tell him you have a letter that might be of interest to someone there. That should get you past security. The guard will escort you to the next room.
Now you meet with Abrecan Doemenel and give him the letter and tell him that you have slain them all. Wait as he throws a tantrum, and agree to finish the job. This will update your quest.
New Objective: Steal the Heart of White March
Here you can: Simply go to Reymont Manor and tell Lord Reymont about the plot to steal his jewel. But this will give your different rewards. You will not gain favor of House Doemenel and must choose a different faction.
Reymont Manor is located just on the upper level, come out and turn right take up stairs and on left side is Reymont Manor. Look up at the side of the house and find the open window. You can use grappling kook to reach the window or climb the vines that are growing toward window. As you enter the window, go into the stealth and open the door in front of you, turn left and locate the wall-mounted candlestick which opens a secret door to the right of it.
Enter the room and unlock the chest and loot Heart of White March. Here your quest will update.
New Objective: Give the Heart of White March to Abrecan
Now head back to Abrecan and give him the Heart of White March. You receive a small reward:
You stole the Heart of White March and gave it to Abrecan
- Reward:3,000 cp.
- Reactivity: “Changing of the Guard” is accessible
You told Lord Reymont about the plot to steal his jewel
- Reward:Ring of Unshackling

#6: The Changing of the Guard
- Quest Giver: Gedmar Doemenel
- Location: Doemenel Manor – Brackenbury
After completing “A Two Story Job” and give the stole Heart of White March to Abrecan, you will be able to get this quest. Visit the Doemenel house in Brackenbury, inside the house, go up and speak to the patriarch at the entrance of Gedmar’s room. He has an invitation for you which is to “Assassination of a Crucible Knight” in First Fires.
You will get Dozens Token to place where murder should take place, so Dozens are blamed for this. After that your quest will update.
New Objective: Assassinate Eldrid Wenfeld in the Crucible Keep in First Fires
As you going out from the Doemenel house, on the first floor Abrecan meet you and requests you not blame Dozens for attack.
Now go to the First Fires and travel to the southeast side of it to locate the Crucible Keep. Go inside and head to war room back northeast corner and talk to Commander Clyver. He explains they are shorthanded. When the option arises to help him, agree to do so. This unlocks the “Built to Last” side quest. Come down and go the right side room, where you will find Marshal Wenfeld stands near the altar.
Bring him down in this chamber, or face an all-out massacre and fraught battle with all of the keep’s knights. Here you can:
- Leave immediately and return to Doemenel Manor
- Place a Dozens Token on the altar so the Dozens are blamed, and return to Doemenel Manor
Your quest updates
New Objective: Return to Gedmar Doemenel
Now go back to Gedmar and inform him that his request has been carried out. He already knows that the deed is done, and an alliance is formed with this powerful family. You’re now able to ask Gedmar for a reward.
