Find all 45 Pieces of Heart in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, these pieces are scattered across the land and in dungeons. Each 5 Pieces of Heart will increase your character Heart meter by one full Heart. You will also receive these pieces from other people.
Below we have the full list of all Pieces of Heart that you may want to find with the location detail so you can find them easily.
Piece Of Heart #1:
In the first chapter where you have task to “Unlock the Gate to the Forest Temple Woods”, you need to find a small key, which you will find at the far end of the tunnel, which is located at the north end of the woods. The key will open the gate to Faron Woods. Here bring out your Lantern and light up 2 torches. Now you can see a cheat in the alcove above, open it you will get your first Piece Of Heart.
Piece Of Heart #2:
In Dungeon #1, where you are on your second task “Free the Third and Fourth Monkeys”, after killing the “Deku Like” on the upper area, now jump to the northwest corner to locate a cave which entrance is blocked by another Deku Like. You will find the Piece of Heart inside that cave in a chest. To Kill the second Deku Like, look to the south side to find a vine wall, use slingshot and drop 2 Walltulas to climb up. Now look to the east and chop down Bombling. Pick it up and drop it onto Deku Like at the cave entrance to kill it.
Piece Of Heart #3:
In Dungeon #1, go back to the Tile Worm room, after defeating the “Tile Worm” with Gale Boomerang, step over to tiled ground and lit 2 torches with Gale Boomerang, entire large staircase recedes. Now you can go inside the hidden alcove, find the chest, open it and collect your reward.
Piece of Heart #4:
In second chapter, while exploring the Hyrule Field, go to the south side and locate the southern end of the bridge. At the entrance, there is a tree on the right you can see the item, shoot it with Gale Boomerang, it #4 Piece of Heart.
Piece of Heart #5:
Go to the Kakariko Gorge’s southwestern part, just before leaving for Faron Province, here you can see the large rock formation, after killing the enemies; target the Piece of heart with Gale Boomerang atop the grassy rock.
Piece of Heart #6:
Go to the Epona up into the pasture area and speak with Fado. He will ask you to herd his goats. Agree and complete this task to get the piece of heart as a reward.
Piece of Heart #7:
In Dungeon #2, when you are going for the task “Journey to the Mine Loading Docks”, when you are at the top of the roof, where you pulled the moving wall, run forward to roof’s end, step onto floor switch, use your boots, and you are flipped upside down, now target “Torch Slug”, go to the north kill 2 more Torch Slugs. There is a chest in northeast alcove, accessible only via magnetic ceiling. Drop onto metal floor when you can and open the chest to get your reward.
Piece of Heart #8:
In Dungeon #2, when you are going for the task “Journey to the Mine Loading Docks”, When you are in a chamber, where you can see 2 new guardian creatures called Beamoses, launch fire at you, from here head west instead to the magnetic wall area. Use Iron Boots to trek up wall, before making a left turn and striding south to reach on a small metal ledge, with the chest. you will get the piece of heart inside it.
Piece of Heart #9:
You will get it as a reward of Malo’s training request. Complete the task and you will get your reward.
Piece of Heart #10:
There is a pool inside the cave filled with sparkling pool filled with sacred water. You can find the chest at the bottom of the pool’s south side.
Piece of Heart #11:
Go and stand near Sanctuary and loo to the south side, you can see a dead tree at the top of the rock, shoot an arrow with the bomb at the tree, this will destroy the rock and reveals the piece of heart now use Gale Boomerang to target the Piece of Heart.
Piece of Heart #12:
In Kakariko Village, head north to Death Mountain, speak with Goron and start your journey. Follow the path, until you find another Goron, now climb onto his back and face left rock wall before launch. You automatically grab on to top of a narrow ledge above. Go to the north and clamber up the large steplike ledges, and run toward a small Goron and talk to him.
Now there is an opening in rock wall, go inside it and fall down it, turn around and locate chest with piece of heart inside it.
Piece of Heart #13:
After getting the Letter #4 from the postman, which explain how to combine bombs and arrows. Now go to the southern entrance of the large field, locate the Bomb Rock and shoot it with bomb or bomb arrow. Now follow the path to a vine wall, scale the wall, turn right and look for a gap and another set of vines with a Bomb Rock above them, shoot it, grab the vines to reach the western side of the gorge path. Turn right and leap toward ledge overlooking an infinite drop, here you can see the chest with a piece of heart inside it.
Piece of Heart #14:
You will find this one in the cavern through your journey; the chest is located to the north side of the tunnel, almost at the end of this task.
Piece of Heart #15:
During the flying game, as you pass through the last giant Rupee, try to land at the top platform. Here you be-careful not to jump off upper platform and miss the next ledge. You must drop off the upper platform’s southwest side, hang from it, and then land on the next platform below to find the last piece of heart to get another heart container, inside the chest.
Piece of Heart #16:
You will find this one in the last chamber of the Lantern Cavern II, during the task” Complete Exploration of Lantern Cavern II”, lit up the 2 torches, chest will appear and you can get the piece of heart inside it.
Piece of Heart #17:
You will find this one during the task “Thoroughly Explore the Fields and River”, take your boat and go to the particular spot, just north and west of the central arched island. You can find the piece of heat on the underside of the arched rock, swing your lure and reel it in.
Piece of Heart #18:
During the task “Thoroughly Explore Castle Town and Southern Field” donate 1,000 Rupees to Charlo and he will bless you with the spirit of love another Piece of Heart. Not so bad.
Piece of Heart #19:
In dungeon #3, this one is located at the top of chandelier, inside a chest; you can go there with the help of Clawshot, shoot it at medallions to reach there.
Piece of Heart #20:
In dungeon #3, in the area where you open the gate by standing on the pressure sensitive tile, use Clawshot and aim at medallion on south wall and propel yourself there. Now you are there, open the chest to get the piece of heart.
Piece of Heart #21:
In chapter 6 “The Great Hylian Treasure Hunt”, during the task “Obtain the Master Sword”, in the area where you fight with the skull boy, you can see a bomb rock in the center, place a bomb next to it, and explode it. This will allow to now jump down inside the Dig Cavern #1, after killing the all enemies here, a chest will appear and you will get the piece of heart inside it.
Piece of Heart #22:
During the task “Repair the Bridge to Castle Town”, when you reach the lazy Goron, throw barrel at him. The Goron is invigorated and can reopen market stall in Castle Town, you will get your piece of heart here.
Piece of Heart #23:
At the start of the task “Continue to Hunt for Treasure and Imp Poes Across the Land” head into Spirit Cave and swim across to western area. Use Clawshotto go up to top of vine wall. Here open the door which leads you to a small passage with a couple of chests at the end. Here light up both unlit torches with Lantern, a chest will appear with piece of heart inside it.
This guide should be more specific. Instead of largest field, Easern Hyrule field would be easier to understand.
Also heart piece 14 is too vague. Which cavern do you mean? There are various caverns in Hyrule.
#5 description isn’t the clearest either. The heartpiece is located on top of a large rock which lies in the middle of the ravine, not on the south east.
People would understand it easier with such accurate descriptions or else they’d be walking in circles
