In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, there are 7 different types of weapons that you can find and use. Includes Assault Rifles, LMG’s, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns and some others which you will find below.

Assault Rifles:

Assault rifles are primarily useful at medium- or long-range. Firing an assault rifle should always be done in short bursts. Three-shot bursts are ideal for maximizing damage and accuracy.

All assault rifles have access to the following scopes:

  • Trojan
  • Thermal

  • ELO


Type 2

Type 2 is probably the most versatile weapon in the game. It switches from a full auto, medium-range assault rifle to a short-range “spray and pray” set of handguns. You can even use the akimbo shotgun’s attachment to allow the gun to break apart into two different types of shotguns. Full auto energy rifle, hold Switch Weapons to split rifle into akimbo auto pistol mode for close-quarters combat.

Volk

Volk is the first energy weapon you gain access to in your armory. Invented by the SDF, it’s an excellent anti-drone weapon. It’s also effective against regular soldiers, inflicting moderate damage. Deploys best-in-class stopping power at a low, dependable fire rate

Unique Attachment: Volk Marksman

Alternate fire mode causes the Volk to fire in semi-auto mode, but each shot does more damage.

R3K

R3K is an extremely accurate medium- to long-range and Three-round burst energy assault rifle. Unless you use the full auto attachment, it always fires in tight three-round bursts. This helps you increase your accuracy while firing the weapon, but the lower fire rate can be an issue when enemies surround you. Be sure to have a good shotgun or SMG to switch to in desperate situations.  Each burst applies extreme stopping power at precise intervals.

NV4

NV4 is the primary UNSA weapon and full auto ballistic rifle. It is a solid all-around assault rifle. Its high accuracy and range make it a solid choice for most missions. However, the low damage means you will often have to put extra rounds into enemies. The bullets won’t penetrate the armor. A moderate fire rate yields increased stability for best-in-class accuracy.

KBAR-32

KBAR-32 is full auto ballistic rifle and good solution for players who like to mix a lot of “running and gunning” with the standard “cover and fire” style of gameplay. Using as your secondary slot with a more limited use heavy weapon. Channels a fast fire rate through a lightweight mold for increased hipfire control and mobility

Unique Attachment: High-Impact Rounds

No fall off damage. (Damage is still very high at extent of the KBAR’s range.)

LMGs

Best long- to medium-range weapon against the group of weapons. With excellent stopping power bullets can cut through enemy cover. When firing an LMG, you should always at least change to the crouched stance. Firing in bursts helps ensure you don’t unload a clip too quickly. SMGs make the best secondary pairing for LMGs. When navigating the battlefield, or narrow corridors, switch to the SMG to move more nimbly.

R.A.W.

R.A.W. is a solid all-around LMG, with very high damage and a huge clip, but limits mobility and has an extremely long reload time. If you do go with the R.A.W. you will want a solid performer for your secondary weapon; a Banshee Shotgun or Erad SMG fits the bill.  Offers a dependable fire rate and high capacity power cell for sustained output

Allows the RAW to carry double the ammo capacity of normal

Mauler

Full auto ballistic rifle, as you can see represented in the stats, it is an extremely fast fire rate. It also has good damage, strength of the Mauler, relative to its LMG cousins, is that it is relatively accurate when fired from the hip. Ideal for mid- to long-range engagement

Titan

Titan is a fully auto energy weapon , makes up for its limited damage with supreme accuracy. If you fire the Titan in bursts, it can fire as accurately as an assault rifle, allowing you to quickly take down enemies with headshots. Delivers high damage with strong recoil

Sniper rifles are one of the most popular weapons, snipers can pick off enemies safely from cover, and are vital to completing several missions on the Veteran difficulty.

EBR-800

EBR-800 is a Semi-auto rifle, you can activate Assault Rifle Mode for automatic fire and reduced power consumption by holding Switch Weapons button. EBR is both a fantastic sniper rifle and assault rifle, which makes it an effective weapon in all combat situations.

KBS Longbow is a bolt-action ballistic rifle. One shot, one kill. It has the distinction of being the most powerful non-heavy weapon in the game. It is one of the few weapons to provide automatic one-shot kills.
