Nintendo announced 15 plus games during the Nindies Spring Showcase on March 20, but the most exciting announcement in this show, when the company revealed the Cuphead is coming to Nintendo Switch in April. It will arrive in the Switch Eshop on April 18, But you can prepurchase it from the digital store right now.
The team at Nintendo appreciate its “friends at Microsoft” for helping it to bring Cuphead to Switch. In 2017, The game first exclusively launched for Xbox One and PC. The classic 1930s cartoon style and challenging hot smoking gun in the gameplay with hand-drawn visuals made hit a big hit of 2017.
Microsoft announced that Cuphead on Switch will support Xbox Live, allowing you to unlock Achievements when you play the game on Nintendo’s console. According to Xbox website, the company is working with the developer “Studio MDHR” to implement Xbox Live features into the Switch version later this year as a core update. Earlier Microsoft announced the plan to expand it to Switch, iOS, and Android.

The Delicious Last Course an expansion for Cuphead was announced during E3 2018 presentation. It will hopefully arrive later this year with exciting challenges, bosses, and new playable characters.
Talking about Nindies Spring Showcase, Nintendo also announced Cadence of Hyrule, a Zelda-themed Crypt of the NecroDancer crossover coming to Switch this spring.
