Surviving Against Invaders
After getting the invasion notice, back away from the unexplored areas, traps, and monsters. Get the full health and find a location where no one can get above you or behind you. Ready your spells and tools for best offense.
If you gave some PVP gears. Use it. During invasion, it is better to be hide and ambush. Male other players and make them search. Some of them may polite and emote respectfully before engaging in combat. It’s up to you how to respond. Always stay calm and control your emotions. Don’t get scared or you will be messed up. If you have a Seed of a Giant Tree, you can use this item to force monsters to attack your invaders.
Be an Invader
When you are attacking as invader, you need to decide how brutal you want to be. While invading you cannot use flasks but your host can. Remember that and always stay close to your targets. Invasions end up against targets that are within a fairly modest level range, so the fights are going to be somewhat fair.
Dried Fingers
You can use dried fingers for extra insanity. It will increase the number of Phantoms and invaders that can appear in your world by one each. You can end up with three Phantoms trying to help you, and two invaders trying to destroy you.
Which Covenants You Should Join:
Covenants allow you to pledge your allegiance to a faction within the game. You acquire Covenants simply by finding the “master” of that particular Covenant, located somewhere out in the world. First covenants have defensive PVP but later covenants give you a means of joining a “defensive” PvP group that fights over specific zones in the game. You can join them freely so don’t hesitate pick up each Covenant as you travel through the game.
Rewards
Every covenant has a separate and different reward item, earned in multiplayer play by performing actions that align with that Covenant’s philosophy. This means defending another player in PvP, hunting another player, or assisting in defeating bosses in co-op. Turning in these reward items to the Covenant master grants actual rewards in the form of equipment for your character.
While playing offline you can get some rewards too. Some enemies occasionally drop Covenant reward items, so it is possible to farm regular foes and obtain at least some early Covenant items.
Aldrich Faithful
You can join Aldrich Faithful by finding a secret waterway beneath the Irithyll. Defeat the boss look behind him for a small tower that two dual-wielding warriors guard. Destroy the walls to reveal the illusory wall and then climb down to get covenant. By equipping this covenant you are automatically summoned to attack any non-Faithful that trespass on forbidden ground in Irithyll.

Blade of the Darkmoon
It acts as righteous enforcers, hunting red spirits that have transgressed repeatedly by invading and slaying other players. This covenant is an ‘upgrade’ to the Blue Sentinels Covenant, with the same reward item and same leader. The difference is only defeating hated Aldrich Faithful rewards Proof of a Concord Well Kept, a double reward item. If you take a leap of faith off a high tower in Anar Londo you find Covenant leader Yorshka. There is an invisible bridge which leads to her tower.

Blue Sentinels
This is a defensive covenant formed to protect members of the Way of Blue Covenant—in practice, this means almost every new player in the game. It can be unlocked by speaking with Anri and Horace once you reach the Road of Sacrifices area, not too far into the game.
After taking up their cause, you will be summoned automatically into a Way of Blue member’s game if a hostile player is attacking them. After defeating the red phantoms you will earn the proof of a Concord Kept. You can turn it to Darkmoon Covenant leader for rewards.
Mound – Makers
They appear as purple signs and phantoms to other players and they can freely attack any host players game. Their shrine can be found in the Pit of Hollows under the Rotted great wood boss. You can reach their without killing the boss in a very roundabout manner. Vertebra shackle NPC drops, Skeleton Swordsman

Rosaria’s Fingers
This is a hostile PVP faction to hunt and kill other players. Defeat hosts to earn Pale Tongues, or defeat blue spirit defenders to earn Forked Pale Tongues, a double reward item. This faction can be accessed within the Cathedral of the Deep. This faction has the special ability to change your attributes or your appearance, each up to five times per play through. And it cost one Pale Tongue.

Warrior of Sunlight
These warriors appear as gleaming golden spirits, beacons of light and a welcome sign for players who need aid against tough bosses. When you place your summon sign as warrior of sunlight it shows up in bright gold.
You can earn sun light medals by defeating bosses as a white gold phantom or hosts by red gold phantom. You can join the Warriors of Sunlight by locating their emblem early in the game, not too far into the Undead Settlement. Sunlight Medal NPC drops, Lothric Knight.

Watchdogs of Farron
Watchdogs of Farron are located around Farron Keep. You can earn Wolf’s Blood Swordgrass by defeating interlopers in this region in PvP battles. In order to join them, you need to speak with the Old Wolf, located high in the tower above the swamp near Farron Keep.

Way of Blue
This covenant is made for new players and this is your default covenant, members of the Blue Sentinels and Darkmoon Blades will join and aid you should a hostile red spirit invade you. You join the Way of Blue early in the game by speaking to Emma, the Priestess in the High Wall of Lothric chapel.
