Larha is standing to the right side inside Galawain’s Maw as you enter. During the conversation you will ask her to help about her missing sister “Alwah and you will start this quest.
#6: Into the White Void
- #5: Quest Giver: Rymrgand
- #5: Location: Elms’ Reach/Teir Evron
#5: When you are ready to select a god to pray to, head to Elms’ Reach and enter Teir Evron. Once inside, take the Luminescent Adra Shard from the altar on right side of room and use it to activate Teir Evron in the middle. This will start main quest “Council of Stars”.
Into the White Void side quest is one of four side quest options that are a requirement for completing “Council of Stars”
You can get it from Rymrgand’s shrine located to northeast. Before interact, go to shelf in back of chamber and take the book The Enigmatic God of Cold from the right bookshelf. Inside is the answer to which ritual words to say to Rymrgand. Now activate Rymrgand’s shrine, and when asked to recite the ritual words, select: “All life ends in stillness.” This begins the side quest.
Pray to Rymrgand once more. This time you have a vision about elves. When prompted, answer the following:
Try to get the elves’ attention. select: “Listen. You’re angering something very big. You’d better stop.” Then plug the hole with a handful of snow.
#5: New Objective: Find Noonfrost in Twin Elms
Head to Oldsong and travel northwest to entry Noonfrost and your quest will update.
#5: Objective: Locate the Frost-Hewn Breach in Noonfrost
As you enter, go to the next room and speak to Vesgel. After that go to east until you reach Pale Elf Paladins guarding a locked door. Enter the next chamber to north reached just before the guards and unlock it. Take the Blue Crystal Key from the Wooden Box. Now go back to Vesgel’s room.
Now go to west and you will have a locked door here, wait until the patrolling guard go out of sight and then unlock it with Blue Crystal Key. Proceed and wait for patrolling elf to leave before you go. Open the locked door to south. Enter the small chamber and open the locked chest to obtain White Crystal Key.
Now go to locked room to north using White Crystal Key. In the next room you will have fight, after combat, use the scout mode and located a purple star tile switch on floor near the east movable wall.
Use this switch to open the next room, where you will find Glasvahl, here if you want to complete this mission and have Rymrgand as your god of choice going into the final quest, then Glasvahl must die.
Before attacking him, pry some information out of him. Start by answering, “Rymrgand sent me to close the Frost-Hewn Breach.”
Glaswahl is trying to find a way into the White Void. Ask him, “The White Void?” He explains that it is Rymrgand’s domain, a place where all things find perfect unity and freedom.
Ask him about his people and the Breach. He finally admits that they want to die. They don’t want to live a thousand pointless lives and never be any closer to Rymrgand. The next round of conversation options allows you to give him the glowing ice crystal, the one Rymrgand gave you to close the Breach. Do this and you will fail the quest when you return to Rymrgand. But it does allow you to get out of Noonfrost without a battle and save Alwah. You will lose Reputation with Twin Elms and The Fangs.
However, if you wish to please Rymrgand, and since these elves want to die anyway, instead of giving them the ice crystal, select the third option: “Fine. You want to die? I can help with that.”
Defeat Glasvahl. After you win the battle, interact with the pedestal of black ice. Choose to plug the hole with Rymrgand’s shard. Here your quest will update.
Note: Here start the “Prison of Ice” side quest – to set free the “Alwah”.
#5: Objective: Return to Teir Evron in Elms’ Reach.
For this quest, you need to go back to Elms’ Reach. Back inside Teir Evron in Elms’ Reach, pray to Rymrgand. During the first round of conversation choices, “This was what your vision directed.”
Next, when asked what it is you search for, answer, “Thaos ix Arkannon, the man responsible for my current plight.”
Then answer, “What now?” and “I’ll seek Thoas in Sun in Shadow.”
Agree to Rymrgand’s wishes and select “I shall give the souls over to entropy.”
This will complete #5 quest.
#4: New Objective: Enter Noonfrost in Oldsong
As you end the Noonfrost in Oldsong, your quest will be updated, again.
#4: New Objective: Find Alwah
Now after the defeat of Glasvahl, go to the last room on the right side of the map, where you will find Silver Key on the table. Use this key to unlock Alwah’s cell, which is the last one as you proceed. Here if you helped Glasvahl through the Breach, then you don’t have to worry about defeating all the elves before setting Alwah free. You can convince them to let her go. Otherwise, defeat all the elves she would run into from her cell to front door.
#4: Objective: Free Alwah from Noonfrost
Talk to Alwah and choose the option that suits the situation, she will go and wait for you outside and your quest will update.
#4: Objective: Return to Larha in the Maw.
Now go outside and Alwah will invite you to the Maw to meet the Fangs who want to meet the cunning estramor who freed her. Now go back to Galawain’s Maw and speak to Larha to tell her Alwah is freed from Noonfrost and rewards you with Scales of the Raven armor.
