New 12 rare fishes are added in Morrowind. These can be found all over the zone, but some fish may be much harder for the master angler to hook simply due to Vvardenfell’s pelagic location.

Saltwater (sea):
- Fishing spots are available all around the coasts of Vvardenfell, including within Azura’s Coast islands and Ascadian Isles.
Freshwater (lakes):
- Fishing spots exist at several locations around Vvardenfell. The two big lakes, north of Vivec City, offer the most opportunities. More spots are found around Molag Mar, north of Balmora, north of Gnisis, as well as a few sites in the northeast region.
Rivers:
- Near many of the towns in Vvardenfell. Find fishing spots near Balmora, Gnisis, Molag Mar, Suran, and Vos. Find more locations around the Ashalmawia and Esutanamus Daedric ruins.
Foul-Water:
- Fishing spots dot the Bitter Coast. Find these sites near Seyda Neen, west of Balmora, and near the Daedric ruins within the region.

You are correct, the shark is salt water, and the last three on the list are foul water
