Floor 23: Two Dodongos, Six Fire Keese, Fourteen Torch Slugs
Two dig spots can be found in this room: one with a yellow Rupee (10) and one with a green Rupee (1). Lava fountains are also there that shoot up through the grates, so make a point to stay off of the grates. Stay outside of the room and avoid the middle and do not use the energy field attack.
If you accidently ZL-target one of the Dodongos, instantly let go of the ZL trigger; it’s very easy to accidently side-step into a Dodongo’s flame breath or a lava fountain while ZL-targeting. After clearing all of the Keese and Slugs on the outer edges of the room, move to the center and kill the Dodongos. And stay off of the grates at all times unless you fancy some deep fried wolf.
Floor 24: Five Bokoblins, Five Keese (On the ceiling), and Ghouls Rats
Get down the left or right ledges of the balcony and stay close to the wall. Use your energy to kill any Bokoblins that come near you. After that spin attack to kill any Ghoul Rats hanging off of you. Try to kill the Ghoul Rats before taking on the Keese.
Floor 25: Two Bublin Archers, Three ReDeads
A dig spot can be found with a single Heart in this room. You need to avoid looking over the ledge into this room. The Bulbin Archers are all too fond to make a pin cushion out of Link and looking over the balcony is more than enough temptation for them to take a few pot shots at our canine friend.
Weave between the ReDeads to the best of your abilities and take out the Archers as soon as can. These Robin Hood knockoffs will foil any attempts at defeating a ReDead, so don’t bother until the Archers have been defeated. After killing them, the ReDeads are actually quite easy to take down.
Floor 26: Six Ice Keese, Six White Wolfos
A dig spot can be found with a single green Rupee (1) in this room. Don’t hold still around the Wolfos. Keep moving, get a few attacks in, and then move further. If you stay still, you will take damage for sure so make sure to avoid it by all means otherwise, you will have to do an energy field attack.
If a Wolfos isn’t directly in front of you, then move to the next one. Mobility is the key to success in this room.
Floor 27: Chus and Ghouls Rats
This room is also very easy; you just need find a safe spot to kill as many Ghoul Rats as possible, then pick off the Chus one at a time.
Floor 28: One Chilfos, Four Mini-Freezards and Six Ice Keese
You need to kill the Chilfos in this room first of all. It is hard, ZL targeting it with all these other enemies around. Chilfos are equal to a super-powered Bulblin Archer. Once you have the Chilfos targeted, hold forward and mash that A button with a vengeance.
You need to hit the Chilfos multiple times to kill it. And each attack will stagger it, preventing it from doing any follow-up attacks. But be careful about your surroundings, there are three giant ice blocks that’ll freeze you solid if you touch them. After dealing with the Chilfos, you can carefully kill other enemies one-by-one to make this room easier.
Floor 29: Four Armos, Rats, Keese, Baby Gohmas
Two dig spots can be found with a yellow (10) and a red Rupee (20) here. This room is quite hard. Four Armos sitting along the west side of the room. Every time an Armos wakes up, the wall behind it opens up and a group of enemies comes out toward you.
There isn’t a specific strategy for this room but you can try this. Awake an Armos very carefully. Waking them all at once is not a good choice.
These are the monsters, you will find behind each Armos.
- Far right = Five Baby Gohmas
- Second right = Three Keese, Three Rats
- Second left = Seven Rats, Three Keese
- Far left = Five Baby Gohmas
Floor 30: One Lizalfos, One Dinalfos, Two Bokoblins
A dig spot can be found with a single Heart in this room. All of the enemies will start to chase you. Keep moving in the room in a circle and try to put some distance between you and your enemies. After creating some distance, use an energy field attack, and then start moving in the room again. Pick off all of the enemies until only the Dinolfos remains.
Continue moving in the room to get the Dinolfos to chase you. After running for 5-10 seconds, quickly hit ZL to target the Dinolfos, and then perform a jump attack. It’s not sure, but Dinolfos often drop their guard when they are chasing their prey. If you can land a jump attack on it, you’ll have the opportunity to mash the A button for extra damage. It takes about three jump attacks in this form to kill the Dinolfos.
Floor 31: Eight Ice Keese, Two Chilfos, Four Mini-Freezards
Get into this room and try to target a Chilfos instantly. Once you’ve got it ZL-targeted, keep attacking the Chilfos until it has been killed. Now turn your focus toward the Ice Keese that have undoubtedly gathered around you.
Kill all of them, and then move on to the final remaining Chilfos. Once you’ve defeated the second Chilfos, you’ll be clear to defeat all of the Mini-Freezards.
Floor 32: Chus, One Dinalfos, Three Lizalfos
Drop off the left or right sides of the room and instantly perform an energy field attack; release the B button as soon as an enemy enters your energy field. Repeat this until you’ve killed all of the Lizalfos. Let the Dinolfos follow you and keep running. After 5-10 seconds of running, hold ZL to target the Dinolfos, then perform a jump attack. Mash the A button when the prompt comes up during the jump attack.
Once Link jumps off of the Dinolfos, start moving in a circle the room again. Repeat this about three times to defeat the Dinolfos, then focus on to kill the Chus.

Jumping down to the final floor, I am literally frozen halfway off the ledge while the room continues to move around me. Why ?

On Floor 29, I found a strategy that works pretty well, basically you sidle up to the armos on their sides, until they detect you. But be careful not to go in front of them, as that causes the door to open. Now lure the Armos away from the doors and defeat it, keeping in mind to avoid triggering the other Armos and the door. Once you defeat the first Armos, their door will open. Now just lure out the enemies and defeat them before moving onto the next Armos. Rinse and repeat. I did this and was able to keep almost all my hearts I had going in, except for 1/2, which I lost to a Rat.
