Carbonites are another collectible that you need to unlock some characters and also to build a custom character. You can find these items in the HUB area of the game.

Carbonite Location:
Below we have listed all the carbonites with their locations so you can find them easily also the character which will you can unlock with the specific carbonite.
Hub: D’Qar
Carbonite 1
- Unlock: Gray Squadron Pilot
- Skill Needed:: Lightsaber, Immunity (Cold)
Cut the glass door with a lightsaber in the cantina then select a character which can handle the cold then enter the freezer to get carbonite.
Carbonite 2
- Unlock: Admiral Ackbar (Classic)
- Skill Needed:: Agile/Jet pack, Aquatic
To get onto the nearby fuel storage tank double jump or use jet pack from the landing pad. Carbonite is in a dive pool on top of the tank.
Carbonite 3
- Unlock: Princess Leia (Classic)
- Skill Needed:: Astromech, Force Powers
Create a hologram by interacting with the astromech inside the command building. Carbonite is inside the hologram. Use force to move carbonite to get it.
Carbonite 4
- Unlock: A-Wing Pilot
- Skill Needed:: Grapple Gun (x2)
Switch to two characters with grapple guns and enter the barracks. Pull open the locker next to a bed.
Carbonite 5
- Unlock: Rebel Fleet Trooper
- Skill Needed:: Charge Up, Sharpshooter
There is a target in the shooting range. Hit it three times and you will get carbonite.
Carbonite 6
- Unlock: Zev Senesca
- Skill Needed:: Silver LEGO
Visit the shooting range and plant an explosive on the silver LEGO containers mixed in with the munitions.
Hub: Jakku
Carbonite 1
- Unlock: Padmé Amidala
- Skill Needed:: Gold LEGO
There are gold LEGO bricks near quicksand pit. Smash them to find a grip handles and you will reach a platform. Collect the carbonite from there.
Carbonite 2
- Unlock: Greedo
- Skill Needed:: Grapple Gun, Force Powers
Reach atop the scaffolding by using grapple handle which is attached to scaffolding. Then use force powers to get carbonite from a white case.
Carbonite 3
- Unlock: Emperor Palpatine
- Skill Needed:: Aquatic
Look for the dive pool and Jump into it to find the carbonite
Carbonite 4
- Unlock: Obi Wan Kenobi (Classic)
- Skill Needed:: Agile, Lightsaber, Immunity (Toxic)
Reach a walkway on scaffolding near an ice cream dispenser by jumping to the two hanging bars. Climb the wall and open the door with lightsaber and you will find the carbonite inside the green gas cloud.
Carbonite 5
- Unlock: Jawa
- Skill Needed:: Grapple Gun (x2), Gold LEGO, Immunity (Toxic)
Look for a door which can be opened by two grapple guns character. Open the door and there is a second door behind it made from gold LEGO bricks open it and get the carbonite inside the green gas cloud.
Carbonite 6
- Unlock: Anakin Skywalker (Podracer)
- Skill Needed:: None
Defeat 12 Unkar goons to obtain a valve wheel. Take the wheel to the door in the back to open it.
Carbonite 7
- Unlock: Bith
- Skill Needed:: Astromech, BB-8
Near the Millennium Falcon break the parts around it and build an astromech access on the wall, this will knock down a pipe, now re build the astromech access into a power jack on the pole to get carbonite.
Carbonite 8
- Unlock: Boba Fett
- Skill Needed:: None
Look for a container with the scanner in the central building of Niima Outpost, break large containers and construct a hat dispenser. Choose the stormtrooper helmet and return for a scan to get this carbonite from the container.
Carbonite 9
- Unlock: Tusken Raider
- Skill Needed:: Force Powers
Use the Force to brush grime from carbonite hanging on a wall inside the central building of Niima Outpost.
Carbonite 10
- Unlock: Luke Skywalker (Episode IV)
- Skill Needed:: None
To find this carbonite go inside the wreck of a large ship, beyond Niima Outpost near the rancor.
Hub: Takodana
Carbonite 1
- Unlocks: Qui Gon Jinn
- Skill Needed: Cracked LEGO
Look for a cracked brick and smash it to find this carbonite.
Carbonite 2
- Unlocks: Obi Wan Kenobi (Episode III)
- Skill Needed: Aquatic
There is a dive pool near the shore of the lake, you need to jump into it to find the carbonite.
Carbonite 3
- Unlocks: Rebel Commando
- Skill Needed: First Order
Look for a large container and use the first order terminal to open it, you will find the carbonite inside the container.
Carbonite 4
- Unlocks: Yoda
- Skill Needed: Staff, Agile
A spinner switch in the ruins raises a platform. To reach the carbonite, ascend the climb wall.
Carbonite 5
- Unlocks: Queen Amidala
- Skill Needed: Lightsaber
There is a locked door next to GA- 97 , you need to cut it with a lightsaber, carbonite is behind the door.
Carbonite 6
- Unlocks: Princess Leia (Ewok Village)
- Skill Needed: None
Look for a button on the staircase on a landing, you need to stand one character on the button and move your other character to go through the door to get the carbonite.
Carbonite 7
- Unlocks: Stormtrooper (Classic)
- Skill Needed: Grapple Gun (x2)
Look for a troop transport located at the edge of ruins, go on the front side you can see two grapple handles, you need to pull both handles at the same time to open the ramp in order to get this carbonite.
Carbonite 8
- Unlocks: Teebo
- Skill Needed: Grapple Gun, Force Manipulation
You need to defeat a sleeping Grummgar, first pull the grapple handle above him to wake him up, after defeating him use the force power to open his bed to find the carbonite.
Hub: Millennium Falcon
Carbonite 1
- Unlocks: Han Solo (Classic)
- Skill Needed: BB-8
Go inside the room near the terminal for The Eravana and break all objects inside it and build a BB-8 interface to play a game. You must avoid the hazards and Exogorth to reach open space.
Hub: Starkiller Base
Carbonite 1
- Unlocks: Imperial Royal Guard
- Skill Needed: Cracked LEGO
Look for a cracked block near the TIE fighter landing pads, break it and you will find the carbonite in the hall.
Carbonite 2
- Unlocks: Darth Maul
- Skill Needed: Agile
Reach the top of the wall by jumping between handles. Leap from the small platform to a pair of twirl poles that end at an even smaller platform under more handles. The handles lead to a platform with white arrows. Ride the air current from the arrows around a corner and the carbonite.
Carbonite 3
- Unlocks: Count Dooku
- Skill Needed: Grapple Gun, BB-8
Use the grapple handle high up on the building at the north entrance to the main base to get up to the roof with with a turbolaser turret on top. Build a rotary control, which attaches to the turret. Blast the roof of a building across the courtyard to drop the carbonite to the ground.
Carbonite 4
- Unlocks: Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper)
- Skill Needed: Dark Side Force Powers, Charge Up
Rip the covering off a power jack atop an energy-shielded door with dark side Force powers. Power down the shield with the power jack.
Carbonite 5
- Unlocks: Han Solo (Stormtrooper)
- Skill Needed: None
To reach the carbonite behind the energy shield, get a Kylo Ren helmet from the nearby hat dispenser and interact with the scanner.
Carbonite 6
- Unlocks: Death Star Trooper
- Skill Needed: None
Destroy everything on the ledge with the Destroy Starkiller Base replay terminal. Assemble a mini TIE fighter and mini X-wing. After their brief battle, they leave behind carbonite.
Carbonite 7
- Unlocks: TIE Interceptor Pilot
- Skill Needed: Thaw LEGO
Use the grip handles to reach a rocky ledge with a block of ice surrounding carbonite.
Carbonite 8
- Unlocks: Scout Trooper
- Skill Needed: Jetpack, Gold LEGO
From the ledge with the frozen carbonite, jetpack across the gap to the snowy area with gold LEGO rocks. Clear the rocks to open a steam vent. Ride the steam into the carbonite.
Carbonite 9
- Unlocks: Anakin Skywalker
- Skill Needed: Force Powers, Aquatic
Use the Force to move the X-wing wreckage and uncover a dive pool. Hop into the pool to pull out carbonite.
Carbonite 10
- Unlocks: Snowtrooper (Classic)
- Skill Needed: Cracked LEGO
Smash open the entrance to the cave to get to the carbonite inside.
