Power ups and Pick-ups are the items that can be used one time only to get special weapons, abilities and vehicles. Look carefully for that item as they can change the game completely. Power-up is represented as a specific circular icon at a set spawn location on the battlefield. Once you collect it, a power is randomly selected and placed in the lower card slot on your HUD.

In order to activate the power you need to press the Power Ability buttons. Some of those powers are very strong so you need to use them wisely.
Here is the list of all the Power-ups and Field Pick-ups that you can use in Star Wars: Battlefront.
This blaster cannon can be placed anywhere in the space. Operates just like the E-Web blasters. It has a shield and stays at a location until destroyed.
- Shield Health – Condition: 200
- Rate of Fire – Condition: 275 RPM
- Damage – Condition: 35 plus 25 explosion damage
- Radius – Condition: 1.3 Meters
Instantly refreshes Star and Charged Star Cards in a hand. Use up your arsenal to take full advantage of this power-up.
Automated defense that targets infantry. It remains active until destroyed. Look for populated locations for maximum effect.
- Lock Time – Condition: 1.5 Seconds (3 Seconds beyond 40 Meters)
- Rate of Fire – Condition: 425 RPM
- Damage – Condition: 10
It is an artillery barrage that can destroy a chosen outdoor location. Aim your shot until the blue reticle lines up with the desired target, and then fire. But it cannot be used inside.
- Radius – Condition: 18 Meters
- Damage – Condition: 100 per projectile
This bomb detonates when someone gets too close to it so drop it near any place that you want to protect. A beeping sound alerts you that it’s active. So get out of the area if you hear that sound.
- Proximity – Condition: 7 Meters
- Fuse – Condition: 1.5 Seconds when Triggered
- Damage – Condition: 150
- Radius – Condition: 7 Meters, Max Damage within 5 Meters
Gives you a support droid equipped with a blaster. Imperial forces receive a Viper Probe Droid, while Rebels get an Astromech Droid. Both are weak to ion damage. Each droid has two special abilities: lock on and fire upon soldiers as well as other droids and a scan pulse that makes enemies visible for all teammates.
RS Droid Stats
- Type – Condition: Ground Droid
- Lock Time – Condition: 1
- Rate of Fire – Condition: 500 RPM
- Damage – Condition: 20
Viper Droid Stats
- Type – Condition: Repulsor
- Lock Time – Condition: 1
- Rate of Fire – Condition: 200 RPM
- Damage – Condition: 20
This rocket locks on to vehicles but you can also quick fire it against infantry. Try to fire from cover to minimize damage taken.
- Fuse – Condition: Explodes on impact
- Damage – Condition: 500
- Radius – Condition: 3 Meters, Max Damage within 2 Meters
This shield can be activated for 90 seconds. Anyone inside cannot shoot out, but it does block blasters, explosions, and grenades. Both friends and foes can destroy the transmitter that projects the shield.
- Health – Condition: 1000
It is a powerful grenade with big radius which works great for enemy groups. Be careful that you don’t end up in the explosion yourself.
- Fuse – Condition: 1.5 Seconds after impact
- Damage – Condition: 200
- Radius – Condition: 11 Meters, Max Damage within 7 Meters
An automated defense that targets vehicles with rockets. It remains active until destroyed. Look for a semi-protected location to place the turret.
- Lock Time – Condition: 1 Second
- Ammo – Condition: 10
- Reload Time – Condition: 10 Seconds
- Damage – Condition: Take down AT-ST if all ten rockets hit
All Field Power-Ups List:
In Supremacy and Walker Assault modes power – ups and vehicles can be found on battlefield. A unique icon indicates the item being collected. Once you’ve picked one up, you have 15 seconds to activate the power with the Power Ability buttons before it disappears.
It is available in Supremacy and Walker Assault, you can find an X-wing, A-wing, or T-47 Airspeeder power-up. As Galactic Empire, find a TIE fighter or TIE interceptor.
It is available for Galactic Empire in Supremacy and Walker Assault. Switch to an Imperial AT-ST, which is destroyed once it is defeated or when you exit.
Available for Galactic Empire in Walker Assault only, take command of the three weapons on an AT-AT.
Once you collect it, activate the power-up to choose from three heroes, depending on your faction. Rebel Alliance chooses from Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. Galactic Empire picks from Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine and Boba Fett.
All Pick-Ups List:
Pick – ups are different as compared to Power – ups because you don’t need to activate them to get advantage. Charge pick-ups are found in most game modes, while the others are limited to specific modes.
Available in most game modes, including Battle and Survival missions, you get +1 charge after collecting it.
Available in Fighter Squadron only. This Jedi icon transports you from your star fighter to one of two hero vehicles. Rebel Alliance gets the Millennium Falcon, while Galactic Empire uses Slave I.
Gives you an extra life in Survival mode
Fly through the icon to heal your air vehicle in Fighter Squadron and Beggar’s Canyon Training mission.
Fly your ship through the icon to reset abilities for immediate use in Fighter Squadron mode only.

For anyone trying to figure out how to ACTUALLY USE the power-ups, you need to press both the LB and RB at the same time! This took me a while to figure out, so hopefully this saves somebody the trouble.
